LED truck advertising costs $800 to $5,000 per truck per eight-hour day on 2026 published rates: $800 to $1,500 at The Rolling Ads, $1,250 to $3,600 at AdQuick, $1,200 to $5,000 at Blue Line Media, $1,500 to $5,000 and up at LED Truck Media, and $175 an hour at Billboard Express. Screen count, hours, market and dates move the figure.

This page is the LED-only cut of the mobile billboard cost page, which covers printed trucks, weekly and monthly units and the full contradiction list. Every figure here was read off the publisher's live page on September 14, 2026, in the publisher's own unit. Nothing is a quote.

What Does an LED Truck Rate Buy?

Three screens, eight hours, one advertiser. Blue Line Media's spec for a digital mobile billboard truck is a 10 foot wide by 6 foot high screen on each side at 1280 by 720 pixels, and a 6 by 6 foot rear screen at 720 by 720. Its printed truck carries 258 by 115 inch side panels and a 24 by 115 inch rear strip: the LED sides are smaller than the printed ones, the LED rear much larger. Billboard Express sells "3 Sides of Truck for your AD" to an "Exclusive Sole Advertiser." LED Truck Media prices a single-sided truck below a two- or three-sided one, so screen count is the first spec to confirm on a quote.

Exclusivity is what separates the format from a roadside digital board. AdQuick's billboard cost page describes a digital billboard buy as "an 8 to 10 second spot in a 60 to 90 second loop," and its mobile billboard page says a roadside board "rotates six to eight advertisers" while "a mobile billboard truck carries only your message." On a truck the share of loop is 100 percent, and spot length becomes how many of your own creatives you rotate; AdQuick says the format "supports multiple ad variations in a single deployment," and no publisher states a maximum.

LED Truck Advertising Cost per Day, by Publisher

The ranges below are market-level figures compiled from publicly published vendor and industry sources. They are not quotes, and they are not the rates of any single network. Always get a written quote before budgeting.

Publisher, type LED truck, published Unit What the page adds
Blue Line Media, reseller rate card$1,200 – $5,000per truck, 8-hour periodSame range as its printed truck. Minimum $5,000 per market. Digital creative due 3 business days before start.
AdQuick, marketplace$1,250 – $3,600+per truck, per day$1,250 low-cost market, $2,500 major metro, $3,600+ premium event. Its billboard cost page says $1,200 – $3,600.
Billboard Express, operator$175 per hour8-hour minimum, so $1,400 a day$7,500 per 5-day week; $24,000 per month; $20,000 per month on a six-month term.
The Rolling Ads, operator, June 12, 2026$800 – $1,500per day, 8 hoursWeekly $4,000 – $8,000; monthly $14,000 – $28,000; top-10 metros carry a 20 to 40 percent premium.
LED Truck Media, operator, March 5, 2026$1,500 – $5,000+per daySingle-sided $1,500 – $3,000; two- or three-sided $2,500 – $5,000+. Hourly $300 – $1,000 by market tier.

Five publishers, and the floor moves from $800 to $1,500 while the ceiling moves from $1,500 to $5,000; The Rolling Ads' top figure is LED Truck Media's bottom one. Three of the five sell the inventory they price; Blue Line resells and AdQuick aggregates. None states a sample, a market list or a date range, and Blue Line's footer notes that "certain info and images may be AI-generated."

Does an LED Truck Cost More at Night or at Events?

Yes on three of the five pages, and none of them puts a number on it. LED Truck Media lists "extended hours: evening or late-night operations may carry a premium" under its add-ons. The Rolling Ads says "extended hours, overnight event coverage, or peak-demand dates (Super Bowl week, Art Basel, major conferences) carry premiums." AdQuick says "custom routes through restricted zones (airports, convention centers) may carry surcharges." Billboard Express sells the night as a feature ("Nighttime Visibility") and prices a solo day at a flat $175 an hour for any hours within its 4 to 12 hour window.

The calendar premium is stated more precisely than the clock premium. LED Truck Media names Black Friday through New Year, Super Bowl week, CES, SXSW, Art Basel, Coachella and election years as periods to "expect premium rates," and January to early March and mid-summer as softer. It names Times Square, the Las Vegas Strip and downtown event districts as routes that "may carry surcharges." The Rolling Ads puts the top-10 metro premium at 20 to 40 percent. A convention week in a top market can therefore stack a market premium, a date premium and a route surcharge on one truck, and only one of the three has a published size.

How Is Multi-Truck Pricing Structured?

As a discount per truck, or as a flat event figure, depending on the seller. LED Truck Media says "providers often offer fleet pricing at 10 to 20 percent below single-truck rates when you book two or more units." The Rolling Ads publishes a "multi-truck event blitz" at $2,500 to $6,000 and up per day without stating the truck count, which makes it hard to check against its own $800 to $1,500 single-truck rate. AdQuick describes booking "a single LED truck in Los Angeles or a 10-truck fleet across five markets" through one platform but publishes no fleet rate.

The multi-truck buys that reach the case-study pages are convention plays: Blue Line Media's mobile page describes five LED trucks around the Las Vegas convention center for Discover Boating and multiple trucks circling Moscone Center for Adobe during Dreamforce. Sellers of LED truck campaigns in the US include, as operators, Firefly, which lists LED digital trucks, glass trucks and 3D hologram trucks on its experiential page, The Rolling Ads, LED Truck Media and Billboard Express, and Blue Line Media and AdQuick as reseller and marketplace. Ask for the per-truck day rate at two, three and five units, not the campaign total.

What Is Included in an LED Truck Rate, and What Is Extra?

The truck, a driver, fuel, GPS tracking and the upload of your creative are in the day rate on the pages that itemise; design, extended hours and restricted routes are extra; and there is no printing line at all. LED Truck Media's standard inclusions are the truck and driver with fuel, route planning, "creative upload and management," GPS tracking with route reports, and standard permits. Billboard Express includes GPS tracking. The Rolling Ads includes GPS live tracking and QR codes and says creatives "can be changed at any time, even while the truck is moving."

Design is the one production cost that survives: LED Truck Media prices it at $500 to $2,000 if the provider designs the ad. Lead time is the other LED advantage the pages quantify: AdQuick says "digital LED trucks can launch in as little as 48 hours" against five business days for print; Blue Line's digital creative deadline is three business days before start, against two to three weeks for print.

Where the Published LED Truck Costs Contradict Each Other

Five contradictions specific to LED trucks, each between figures on live pages read on September 14, 2026.

# Figure A Figure B What it means
1AdQuick, billboard cost page: LED truck $1,200 – $3,600 per dayAdQuick, mobile billboard page: $1,250 – $3,600 per dayOne marketplace, two floors. Cite the page and date you used.
2Blue Line Media: LED truck $1,200 – $5,000 per 8-hour periodBlue Line Media, same card: printed truck $1,200 – $5,000No LED premium on this card; every other publisher prices LED above print.
3The Rolling Ads: LED truck $800 – $1,500 per dayLED Truck Media: $1,500 – $5,000 per dayTwo operators; one's ceiling is the other's floor.
4Billboard Express: $175 per hour, 8-hour minimum, $1,400 a dayBillboard Express: $7,500 per 5-day week, $1,500 a dayThe weekly commitment costs more per day than a single day.
5LED Truck Media: $300 – $1,000 per hourLED Truck Media, same page: $1,500 – $5,000 per dayEight hours at the hourly ceiling is $8,000, 60 percent above the daily ceiling.

Discount two other numbers on the same pages. AdQuick and The Rolling Ads each cite "up to 97%" recall and LED Truck Media "47 to 86 percent," none with a study named; the results page follows the 97 figure to three attributions and no document. LED Truck Media's "30,000 and 70,000 impressions daily" names no market or model.

When Is a Printed Truck the Better Buy?

When the message will not change and the flight is long enough for the print to amortise. On three of the four pages that price both, print is cheaper per day: $800 to $2,400 against $1,250 to $3,600 at AdQuick, $500 to $900 against $800 to $1,500 at The Rolling Ads, $800 to $1,500 against $1,500 to $5,000 at LED Truck Media. Print then adds production ($300 to $800 at The Rolling Ads; $1,200 to $1,600 for "the pair of banners" at Billboard Express) and a longer lead time. A printed truck also carries the larger side panel on Blue Line's spec. The mobile billboard cost page lays the two formats side by side by hour, day, week and month, and the LED truck guide covers the uses that justify the premium: launches, conventions and creative that changes by the hour. For how a day of truck compares with a four-week static or digital board, see the billboard advertising cost page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Billboard Express charges $175 an hour with an eight-hour minimum.

How much does an LED truck cost per hour?

Billboard Express publishes $175 per hour with a minimum of eight hours a day. LED Truck Media publishes $800 to $1,000 and up per hour in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco, $500 to $800 in Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, Denver and Boston, and $300 to $500 in smaller metros such as Nashville and Orlando.

How much does an LED billboard truck cost to buy?

Billboard Express says "a digital led billboard truck starts at $100,000 on average" and a static truck at approximately $25,000. The Rolling Ads lists a 2024 Isuzu NPR with a P4 LED screen and generator for sale at $159,900. Those are purchase prices for an operator; the day rates above are what an advertiser pays to rent one.

Is an LED truck more expensive than a printed mobile billboard?

Per day, yes on AdQuick, The Rolling Ads and LED Truck Media, where the LED floor sits $300 to $700 above the printed floor. Blue Line Media prices both at $1,200 to $5,000. An LED truck has no printing cost and a shorter lead time, 48 hours at AdQuick against five business days for print, which narrows the gap.

How much does a fixed LED billboard cost?

A different product. AdQuick's billboard cost page lists a digital billboard at $3,500 to $25,000 per four-week rotation, bought as a share of a loop, typically an 8 to 10 second spot in a 60 to 90 second cycle, and puts the cost of building one at $100,000 to $500,000 and up. Fixed boards are on the billboard cost page.

How many hours a day does an LED truck run?

Eight is the standard shift on every page that states one: Blue Line Media's rate is per eight-hour period, Billboard Express has an eight-hour minimum, and The Rolling Ads prices per day at eight hours. AdQuick describes full-day deployments as 8 to 12 hours, and Billboard Express allows 4 to 12. Evening and overnight hours are listed as premium add-ons.
